Every patient receives individualized, personal attention.  In order to do this, we take a detailed medical history so that we can form an accurate assessment and plan for each patient. Communication, listening and education are vital roles for the primary care provider at every patient encounter. We strive to build long-lasting relationships built on trust and mutual respect. This is accomplished through close collaboration between staff, patients, and their families. 

Going to the PCP may increase anxiety in patients. But I can assure you that we will make your experience as comfortable as possible.  Patients will leave our office feeling in control of their health.

Amy N. Waldman, ANP-BC, is an ANCC board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She has been practicing primary care for over 20 years. Amy has her Master of Arts in Adult and Geriatric Primary Care from New York University School of Nursing and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Buffalo. 

Amy brings extensive experience in adult and geriatric primary care, as well as specialization in cardiology.  She is well regarded for her unique approach to patient care, which prioritizes comprehensive exams, preventative healthcare and patient communication/education.

Amy has handled inpatient care in both the nursing home and hospital settings as well as outpatient Primary and Cardiology practices. She also helped to establish the Pre-Surgical Testing department for a leading NYC hospital.  

Amy became a Registered Nurse in 1999 where she worked at NYU Medical Center on the medical-surgical unit. While working full-time as an RN, she attended NYU’s Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She completed her program in 2005 and was board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Certifications. 

Amy lives on Long Island with her husband and 3 beautiful children.
